Tapan is a young and experienced professional with diversified experience in ICT, Computer Science, Sales, Marketing, Branding and Advertising.
He started working pretty soon after finishing his school and continued his study while working. He then launched his own venture in Web Designing & Development in 1998. After achieving great client base, he then started representing various foreign companies for their businesses in India and mostly dealing with Government sector.
Tapan, later on in the year 2003 started working for an IT company and eventually got a break in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sector. He grew to a level of becoming National Sales Manager and after working for about a year and half at that level, started working as consultant with a group of other professionals. This consultancy firm was helping entrepreneurs in starting up a new ventures or diversifying into a new sector and thereby increasing profits.
Tapan is currently working towards another start up, but this time the venture is in mobile industry.
At the moment, Tapan is Chair of the SA Young IT Committee of the Australian Computer Society and is also a member of Branch Executive Committee of Australian Computer Society, SA Branch. Tapan is also the marketing coordinator of the national Young IT board of the ACS.
